Elephante is no stranger to stellar remixes, with huge success on his remix of Lorde’s “Team” and Katy Perry’s “Dark Horse” so it’s no surprise the reception he has received on his new remix of “Rather Be” Although 7 months after the original grew to massive popularity has been immense in a very small amount of time.

The track boasts an anthem style progression with powerful lead synths

(The kind that in his words “makes you want to go roll around in a

park and eat popsicles and stuff”) and small hints of a grittier electro

bass underneath that melds the two aspects of this track seamlessly and beautifully while still maintaining Elephante’s signature sound really does take this remix from a well done level into a track you can tell has been meticulously worked on and something Elephante himself would take great pride in.
